Effective June 15th, 2022, Southern Fidelity Insurance Company (“Southern Fidelity”) was ordered into liquidation by the Second Judicial Circuit Court in Leon County, Florida.

The Florida Department of Financial Services provides certain protection for claims and unearned premium from an insolvent insurance company. If you have a claim, you can file a claim with the Florida Insurance Guaranty Association (FIGA) at www.myfloridacfo.com/division/receiver. The claims filing deadline is 06/15/2023. All policyholders should be aware that per Section 631.68, Florida Statutes, the deadline for settling a claim or filing suit against FIGA is June 15, 2024.
